Iterating SpaceCRAFT

SpaceCRAFT is currently at version 1, but it will continue to evolve to adapt to the needs of the sector. We expect it to change rapidly over the next few years, and then stabilise it and the sector matures.

Space Skills Alliance has been funded by the UK Space Agency to develop the framework further throughout 2024 and 2025.

On our immediate roadmap:

• Add more detail to explain competencies beyond the current high level descriptions
• Add levels to allow for recognition of different levels of experience and expertise

Suggestions and change requests

We know the framework has gaps and needs improvements, so we welcome challenges to what’s currently included and suggestions for changes. Please email as at spacecraft@spaceskills.org with your suggestions.

Minor changes may be implemented immediately. Larger changes will be incorporated into the next version.
